Responsibilities:

• Manages Store during open hours
• Performs and oversees basic operational activities such as scheduling, opening and closing duties, inventory receipt/dispatch, daily replenishment of floor merchandise levels
• Train and coach sales associates as necessary, challenging the team in an atmosphere of mutual respect
• Develop a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals
• Ensures visual presentation, organization, and facility maintenance are up to Avara standards 
• Work with warehouse team to replenishment merchandise 
• Work with customers in a stylist capacity to make suggestions and recommendations based on client needs
• Get to know our customers on a personal level to drive long-term loyalty and advocacy for Avara- our Avaraistas will always remain our top priority
• Work closely with marketing to create a monthly store event that will drive traffic to the store
• Leadership: Proven ability to challenge and motivate the management team and associates in an atmosphere of mutual respect 
• Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and substitute within guidelines Communication: Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to store team 
• Entrepreneurial: We’re looking for a self-starter that will take ownership of the shop as if it was their own business

Requirements:

• 2+ years of clothing experience preferred
• 2+ years of store management experience preferred
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Upbeat, energetic, experienced leader who has a passion for people and fashion
• Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop and direct the sales team
• Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including some Saturdays and holidays is required
