Avara carries styles from many different brands, including our own! Please note that the measurements listed in the size chart are meant as a guideline for fit. Styles from different designers can vary from one style to another, so please read the product description for additional tips.

Our advice: IF IN BETWEEN SIZES, SIZE UP! Our sizing tends to run smaller than national retailers and department stores.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF:

To measure Bust, take a measuring tape and measure under your arms at the fullest part of your bust. Keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.

To measure Waist, measure around your natural waist, keeping the tape slightly loose. Recommendation: keep one finger between the tape and your body.

To measure Length, take a measuring tape and start it at the top of the shoulder seam and measure to the bottom of the garment.

To measure Inseam, select a pair of your current pants with a similar cut (slim, relaxed; jeans or trousers). Measure from the center of the crotch and follow down the seam. The number of inches is the inseam length. Add a half inch for all-cotton pants to allow for shrinkage.

FINDING YOUR PERFECT FIT:

To ensure the best possible fit, look at the “Size Info” and “Model Info” tabs before purchasing. This will be a good indicator of exact measurements and how the products fit. Sizing varies by brand and while some offer extended sizing such as XXS-XXXL, others do not. In addition, the stretch of the product varies by material, so please review the “Details” section in the “Description” tab.

Please keep in mind that products with an oversized fit - sweaters, oversized tops, etc. - will show larger bust measurements. To find how the piece will fit, we recommend finding a similar piece in your closet to measure and compare.
