Delphine Navy Printed Midi Dress

This was my first purchase from AVARA and it did not disappoint. I wore it the next day and received many compliments. The print is special, perfect for Fall and will transition well to the holidays. It has a Swiss vibe. This dress is lined to the knees (didn’t really need to be but I appreciate the effort) and I wore the self belt tied in the back to define my waist a bit. I found this dress to be tts; I am a “medium” except for the bust so I sized up to a “large”.

I originally bought this in a size large and it was way too big. I sent it back for a small size. There’s definitely a lot of volume in the skirt and I think I will switch out the existing belt with something a little bit more substantial to create more of a waist line for me. The material is very nice and the quality is 5-star. I love the unique pattern as it makes me think a little bit of Bavarian fashion. I tried on a red sport coat I have with it which dresses it up a little bit as well, and works when the weather is cooler.. I can see this being useful for several functions.
