Measure under arms around the fullest part of the chest. Be sure to keep tape level across back and comfortably loose.
2. WAIST
Measure around natural waist with a loose tape.
3. HIP
Place the measuring tape around the body at the fullest part of the lower hip, feet together.
4. INSEAM
Without shoes, measure on inside of the leg groin to the floor.

I love this sweater. The bow is very festive, but not in an "in your face" obnoxious sort of way. It can be worn with a variety of colors (black, green, gold) or even dressed down with jeans and some fun shoes. They were out of the small, so I ordered the medium and it is fine. Was worried because I'm only 5'0" tall so if something is too large, it usually looks bad. But I am busty, so this worked out. I cannot wait to start wearing it!!
