Evelyn Red Tweed Jacket

This is a fantastic tweed jacket especially for the price. I buy tweed jackets from Veronica Beard, IRO, Brooks Brothers, Akris, L’Agence and St John - this is a looser weave than those brands. I also buy tweed jackets from Endless Rose, Joie, Generation Love and Ann Taylor - this is similar to those brands in terms of tightness of weave. This is a high quality heavyweight jacket similar to those from Veronica Beard and Generation Love. It’s very similar to an Endless Rose red tweed jacket that I had my eye on that sold out. I’m so happy Avara had this and am so happy with it. It looks like a $500-$600+ jacket. I’m 5’5” and 113lbs, 34B-28-35, with broad shoulders (shoulder seams on jackets measuring 14.5” are best for me) and normally wear size Small/2 in most brands, as I like a closer fit. The Medium is a bit big/wide for me and the size Small is a perfect fit, but I got both. Medium may work for me with thick sweaters underneath. Washed the Small in the washing machine on delicate cycle and hung to dry and it held up well - didn’t bleed, didn’t shrink, didn’t wrinkle and didn’t lose its shape.
