Measure around natural waist with a loose tape.

Place the measuring tape around the body at the fullest part of the lower hip, feet together.
4. INSEAM
Without shoes, measure on inside of the leg groin to the floor.

Sweater is adorbs. The purple is very light - colour exactly as shown. I will wear in fall with vest. 5'7/150 lbs with very long arms and fit is spot on (medium). love the retro vibe.
